Our Story
The name Qrioh comes from curio, a word for the rare and unusual things that spark curiosity and make you stop and look twice. Chasing exactly those is how all of this began.
Where it started
Qrioh started in 2012 with a simple itch. I kept stumbling on things around the world that felt special, and almost none of them were available in India. Whisky stones that chilled a drink without watering it down. Ziiiro watches that told time in colour. 3D printing pens, sunglasses, stationery, dreamcatchers, grooming kits, and all kinds of quirky gifts. Odd, wonderful curios that made you go, where do I even get that? So I started bringing them home.
The fish tank that changed everything
Looking back, I was early. Maybe a little too early. India was not quite ready for whisky stones. But tucked inside that first collection was one strange little thing, a phone case shaped like a fish tank. When the site went live, that case and the other covers were the first to sell out. Not the watches. Not the grooming kits. The covers. So we listened, brought in more, and before long phone covers went from a side act to the main stage.

We built our own home
We could have kept importing forever. Instead, we set up our own factory in Delhi, fitted with state of the art printing and finishing machines, so we could make these covers ourselves, exactly the way we pictured them. Every cover you carry from us today is born in that house, made by people who genuinely care how it turns out.
The leather years
In 2017 we chased another idea and opened our own leather goods facility in Delhi. Passport covers, wallets, cardholders, all cut and stitched by hand by people who took real pride in the craft. There is something about leather, the smell of it, the way it softens and ages with you, that we fell completely in love with.
We opened our doors
Around the same time, we opened our own showroom, a little space where people could walk in, browse a whole wall of covers, and pick the one that felt like them. Watching someone light up over a design in person never got old. It reminded us exactly who we make all of this for.
Then came 2021
The pandemic changed everything. In 2021 we had to make the hardest calls of our journey, closing our showroom and shutting the leather facility we had poured our hearts into. It still stings. But it taught us to hold tight to what we do best, and to never take a single order for granted.
Craft has a way of getting noticed. Over the years, some of the biggest names in the country have trusted us to make their products or partner with them.
The road ahead
So what is next? Covers will always be our heart, but Qrioh has always been about more than covers, and that is exactly where we are focused now. We want to bring back more of the curious, unusual things we fell for in the first place and build a whole little world of them for you.
We do not have every step mapped out yet, and if we are being real, we kind of love that. We are still the same curious brand we started as, and we will keep following that curiosity wherever it takes us.
A phone cover might seem like a small thing, but it is the one object you hold all day, show everyone, and truly make your own. Getting to be a small part of that is the best job we could ask for. Thank you for carrying a piece of us around.
